Doi Suthep Temple & Bhubing Palace

Overview

A half day visit Chiang Mai's most sacred temple, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and Bhubing Palace,the royal winter residence. This temple was built in 1383. It is located 16 kms from the city and is 3,500 ft above sea level. The Bhubing Palace is also a guesthouse for receiving foreign dignitaries. It is built in the mountains overlooking Chiang Mai and ideal for birds and butterflies watching.

 

Itinerary:

• Get picked up around 8:00-8:30 Hrs for morning trip and 12:00-12:30 Hrs for afternoon trip at your accomodation

• Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

• Enjoy impressive panoramic view of Chiang Mai at the top of the Mountain

• Visit Bhubing Rajanives Palace

• Visit rose, fern and flower garden with temperate plants which are not commonly found in Thailand

• Back in the Town around 13:00-13:30 Hrs for morning trip and 17:00-17:30 Hrs for afternoon trip
